DUNG SHOES!!

British designer, INSA, was one of six artists asked by the Tate Britain gallery to create a response to artist Chris Ofili's painting “The Holy Virgin Mary,”which used elephant dung as a material. Without a doubt the most beautiful shoes i've ever laid my eyes upon.

More on Hair and Makeup

Creative director and makeup artist Adriana Gerasimova mashes up early 1980s cyberpunk with superheroes, evil mutants, post-apocalyptic outcasts and telekinetic superfreaks. If you doubted that the era of Blade Runner chic was upon us, doubt no further.

Here are some of our favorite splashy, trashy images from her photo and makeup portfolios, including the new Iconic 2010 campaign.

Here is the link.

Ashley Lloyd's work was featured on the pages of this magazine, and I thought you might be interested in the site. (For a complete look at Ashley's work, including styling credits, scroll down to "Raised by Wolves".)

Company XIV

I visited this mini dance company and in house production company in NYC this weekend, and thought you might be interested in their work. Check out their lighting and costume design! Aaron - you might be especially interested in their production Le Serpent Rouge. Baroque meets Rococo meets Edwardian Storybook Goth.
