This particular poster may be a little difficult to read, but I do enjoy the contrast between the simple graphic and the intricate detail used to create the actual text.

 I still like the idea of having an historical image as the background like this^

below are some of my favorite graphic styles by this firm called SeriPop. I like the unique-ness of each flyer, they are image heavy but the middle one combines psychadelia/graphics+text well I think.

Promo/Marketing Ideas

Love this simple stamp idea by Mikey Burton.

I was also thinking of those cheapo paper key rings as they are not super duper expensive (13 cents a pop if we order 500 of the smaller ones) customizable and people like free useful things.

ANDREALAGE

I fell in love with this designer, Andrealage, thought it might be inspiring. 

I came across them in the Japanese publication, "gappress". Expensive magazine ($30), but had amazing designers I had not seen before.
